Remain Vigilant and Steadfast

Dear Church Family,

The Bible says, “In the last days perilous times will come” (2 Timothy 3:1). The news about the shooting at a local church in Orange County last Sunday is tragic, and our prayers go out to all the families who lost loved ones that day.

The senseless violence permeating our broken world is heartbreaking. One sign of the last days is the increase of violence. The world seems to be set on edge nationally and globally as we get closer and closer to a climactic moment in the history of man. Thankfully, we know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will ultimately triumph over the wickedness of this world, and one day His Kingdom will come, bringing His will to Earth as it is in Heaven.

Until that day arrives, we must remain vigilant and steadfast in our commitment to the Lord. We must continue to live out our faith despite the culture that surrounds us. Church, don’t be discouraged. Keep living for Jesus, keep loving and sharing with the lost, and keep looking up as your redemption draws near.

Your Pastor,

John Randall
