Make Fellowship A Priority
Dear Church Family,
The Bible says, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25). The writer of Hebrews exhorted believers to make fellowship a priority in their lives, and I have found whatever I make time for becomes a priority.
As we settle into our new church home, I want to encourage you to make fellowship a priority. May I encourage you to give midweek service a chance? I have discovered taking time midweek to worship and study God’s Word changes the dynamic of my week, growing in me a deeper and stronger walk with the Lord. Imagine if a person ate only one meal a week. The effects of malnourishment would quickly set in. Yet, many believers live malnourished spiritual lives.
The writer of Hebrews also reminded the church as they saw “the Day” approaching to be even more intentional to gather. I truly believe “the Day” mentioned is closer than ever. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you as you follow Jesus. I love you, Church, and I am committed to doing my part to help you grow strong in the Lord.
Your Pastor,
John Randall
