Don’t become complacent

Dear Church Family,

The Bible says, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

There are times in our lives when the Lord desires to do a fresh work. He doesn’t want us to grow stagnate or complacent, so He makes us aware by calling us into deeper waters of our experience with Him. At times, it can be scary to step out into what we don’t fully understand. We may be unsure if we have what it takes to move ahead in some new venture of faith, but every step of the way, the Lord reminds us He is with us. He points us to His promises as trail markers along the path to let us know we are on the right track.

Be open to the Lord doing something new in your life. Be willing for Him to stretch and grow your faith. Trust in the Lord for His timing, direction, and provision. Get ready! There may be some new things on the way!

Your Pastor,

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21
