“For God so loved the world..."

Over 2000 years ago, God sent His only Son, Jesus, into this world to die upon a cross for the sins of humanity. Jesus died so that we could be forgiven and have the hope of heaven. The Bible puts it this way in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever would believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  Yet His death was not the end of the story, for three days later He rose from the dead. The resurrection of Jesus sets Him apart from every other “religious leader” that has come into this world. Jesus ALONE has conquered the grave. The reason we are gathering together is to proclaim that JESUS IS ALIVE!

Today you have heard the Gospel Message. You have heard the truth about Jesus Christ and what He did for you. Nevertheless the question remains, “What will you do with Jesus? Will you choose to put your faith and trust in Him as your Savior and Lord?” What you decide concerning Jesus will ultimately determine your eternal destiny. The Bible says in Revelation3:20 “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in.”

You may be thinking, “What do I need to do to have Jesus be my Savior and Lord?”

  1. ADMIT: You have a spiritual need. “I am a sinner”

  2. REPENT: Be willing to turn from sin.

  3. BELIEVE: Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the dead.

  4. RECEIVE: Pray for Jesus Christ to enter you heart and life.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins and have risen from the dead. I turn from my sin and open the door of my heart and life. I receive You as my personal Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. AMEN.
