Dear Church Family,
The Bible says, “Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy” (Proverbs 31:8-9).
On January 22, 1973, the United States Supreme Court ruled that a woman had a constitutional right to abort her baby. Since that time, 60 million children have been put to death. However, today’s ruling overturned Roe v. Wade by a majority 6-3, allowing individual states to make it illegal to murder the life of a child. As wonderful as this news is, the battle is far from over. California’s leadership desires to turn our state into a sanctuary state to uphold abortion.
The church must continue to be a voice for the voiceless, as this is not a political issue but a biblical one. Also, please be in prayer for the pregnancy resource centers around the country. Many of these centers have been under attack and their properties have been vandalized. We stand for life and must continue to protect the sanctity of life.
