He is Alive
Dear Church Family,
When we consider all Jesus suffered and endured on the cross, it’s hard to imagine how this day would be considered “Good Friday.” At the same time, when we realize what was provided through the cross, it makes sense. If you are looking for irrefutable proof of God’s love, look at the cross.
At the cross of Calvary all our sins were paid for with the precious blood of Jesus. Though we were far from God, now we are brought near because of the cross. The cross bridges the gap between sinful man and a Holy God. At the cross, we see both justice and mercy. Our Lord’s sacrifice brought about our redemption and freedom. However, the cross was not the end of the story, for three days later, Jesus rose from the dead! He is alive and coming again.
