Eternal Perspective

Dear Church Family,

The psalmist presented a powerful and encouraging fact when he wrote, “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations” (Psalm 145:13).

When confronted with all that is temporal, it’s important to maintain an eternal perspective, because this world is ultimately not our home. The Bible says we are pilgrims passing through. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reminded the church amid conflict, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:16).

Remember in the days ahead who you are and more importantly “whose” you are. This life is a vapor, but eternity with Jesus is forever.
