Lord, speak to us

Dear Church Family,
 
On my way to the men’s prayer meeting Tuesday morning, I asked the Lord to speak to me. At the meeting, I entered into a time of prayer with my brothers with an expectant desire to hear from my Savior and am thankful to report the Lord was faithful. He answered me in an unexpected way, but it was a blessing.
 
Sometimes, we don’t realize the Lord not only wants to hear from us, but He also wants to speak to us. The Lord loves you and has things He wants to share with you personally. We are encouraged in Scripture to be still and know He is God (Psalm 46:10).
 
Ask Him to speak to you through prayer and the study of God’s Word and then listen intently. The Bible says, “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21).
